Poseidon Rebreather Cross Over CCR - CCR Mod 1

Poseidon Rebreather Cross Over Mod 1 - 30 meter (100') Training for divers previously certified CCR "other"

This is a course for divers who have already completed a full CCR course on another major brand CCR. If you hold a card from a recognized training agency, and have owned / dived a CCR for a period of one year you may qualify for a shorter X-Over. * Note this is NOT for divers who have dived an SCR or eSCR as it only applies to certified divers on a Closed Circuit unit. Essentially you get credit for mastering the theory and skills, and will only require a half of a course. Limitations may apply so please ask before you sign up to make sure you qualify.

• Theory review in classroom, paperwork, building and testing your own unit, simple maintenance, post dive cleaning
• Pool skills in confined water of a swimming pool or shallow ocean (warm/clear) of minimum one hour
• 2 Open water dives in local lakes, or better yet join us for one of our CCR Bonaire adventures and complete your training in beautiful Caribbean location with unlimited diving

Typical schedule Midwest

Friday - 9:30 am - classroom registration, waivers, theory review - Lunch break - Equipment set up, 1 hour pool skills, Post dive maintenance, travel to open water dive site

Saturday 9:30 am - 4:30 Lake Wazee - two open water dives - dinner break - 6:30 - 9:30 theory review, quiz reviews

Summary - 1 hour minimum Confined Water /pool skills, 2 dives of 1 hour each, 3 hours classroom/equipment set up.

Bonaire CCR Week - Option -

Saturday Flight arrival -check into Buddy Dive - evening cocktails overlooking ocean

Sunday 8:00 am - buffet breakfast - 9:30 am - dive registration, waivers, pick up CCR cylinders, absorbent, dive weights at Buddy Tech. Set up Poseidon CCR, prep for beachfront "confined water" skills. Lunch break - Afternoon - prep for dive #1 shore dive - evening 1 hour classroom - Dinner at waterfront restaurant

Monday 8:00 am - buffet breakfast - 9:30 am - pick up fresh filled CCR cylinders, new absorbent, set up Poseidon CCR, prep for shore dive at "Andrea" complete dives #2 & #3 . Return Buddy Dive drop cylinders, rinse and post dive. 2 hour classroom, review quizzes. Dinner at Bon Pizza

You are now a Poseidon CCR Diver!

Tuesday, Wednesday - log hours of experience and go on to do the Deco or Intro Trimix CCR diver course on Thur-Fri.

Thursday - optional day for more ccr diver experience

Friday - optional day for one more morning ccr dive before wrap up, clean and dry for travel home

Summary - 1 1/2 hour confined beach dive for skills, 2 open water dives of 1 1/2 - 2 hours each + 5 more optional fun dives for 10 -12 additional hours experience. Total 22 hours underwater time!
